Accusing of copyright infringement , money laundering , Federal
officials have shut one of the Internet's largest file Sharing site:
Megaupload. The site is accused of
holding Copyright holders's more than
$500 million. Megaupload's two
co-founders Kim Dotcom and Mathias Ortmann have also been arrested from
Auckland ,Newzealand.
The shut down has triggered
a series of attacks from hackers to the FBI and US Department of Justice
website. Due to the targeted attacks the website were temporarily unavailable.
The move comes a day
after thousands of websites took part in
a blackout against the proposed SOPA and PIPA acts.
Meanwhile, after having a 24 hour blackouts, the leading
site against the SOPA and PIPA act: Wikipedia has said that the protest against
the acts weren't over yet. The site has resumed it's operation after a 24 hours
shutdown. Major internet site's including Google,Facebook,Yahoo,Wikipedia and
others are gainst the act.
