According to a group of researchers associated with Security
Firm Seculert,a computer worm has stolen more than 45000 login Credentials from
Facebook. A Malware also known as Ramnit present around since April 2010 and
was previously active in stealing banking details.
The stolen information by the use of malware is believed to be used to login to
victim's facebook account and spread malicious links to their friends. Social
network is on the high priority hackers because large amount of Personal
Information can be collected from
them.According to the same firm around 800,000 computers or machines are
infected with the Ramnit .
Facebook says it has been seriously looking into the issue
and been working on ensuring personal
information of the affected users.
